100-Pin Game Bumper Trick
In bowling's 100-Pin Game, if you can toss the ball onto the blue bumper just right and make it travel all the way to the end, it will hit a switch and knock down all the pins. To do this, release the ball late on Manual to toss the ball into the air. Angle it towards the bumper with some spin to keep it on track.
Air Sports: Replay Skydiving introduction
Use the following code to replay the skydiving demo that was featured when the game was first started. Highlight the pointer over the "OK" option at the character selection screen. Hold 2 and press A. Release 2 at the next screen, featuring your Mii getting ready to jump. Your score and level will not appear to confirm correct code entry.
Archery: No guide circle
Hold 2 while an Archery game loads.
Basketball: Play at night
Hold 2 and press A while confirming your character at the selection screen. Release 2 at the warning message screen.
Bowling: Change ball color
For a golden ball, hold Right and press A while confirming your character at the selection screen. Release Right at the warning message screen.
For a pink ball, hold Left + A while confirming your character at the selection screen. Release Left at the warning message screen.
For a green ball, hold Down and press A while confirming your character at the selection screen. Release Down at the warning message screen.
Bowling: Easy strike on 100-pin game
You must throw the ball on top the right or the left rail. To do this, move to the rail, but set your direction and position options before getting too close to the rail. The dotted line must be almost parallel to the rail, but slightly turned towards the rail. If you are too close to set the angle, move away then move back in after making your adjustment. If done correctly, after a perfect throw the ball will roll on top of the rail and hit the red button at the end. You will hear a click followed by the sound of an explosion if that happens. All 100 pins will then fall down. Get thirteen strikes in a row to get a perfect score.
Bowling: Scare crowd
Release B when the Wiimote is all the way behind you when throwing the ball. If done correctly, the ball will be thrown backwards and the Miis will jump.
Color Coded Wakeboarding Obstacles
In Wakeboarding, note the color of the left and right buoys at the beginning. The color buoy on the left will always be to the left side of the boat when you pass it and vice-versa.
Cycling: Control view
Use the D-pad at the map to control the camera angle and look around the island. Note: You can also change camera view while riding.
Dogfight: Alternate controls
You can use the following controls on a Nunchuk any time during flight.
Use the Joystick to change camera angles.
Press Z to fire bullets.
Press C to cut the engine.
Facing the Champions
In some events you can face an island champion for a stamp. Once you turn Pro in many of the sports, at an event score of 1000, you won't face champions right away. For most of the sports you must get your level to right around 1500 to face the champions and thus get your stamps.
Frisbee: Remove meters
Hold 2 and press A while confirming your course at the selection screen. Release 2 at the warning message screen. The only meter visible will be the one that sets the direction when you are on the green.

Island Flyover: Finding Miguel
When you follow Miguel's plane you will find some "i" symbols. Use the following trick to locate Miguel's plane. Press 1 to shoot a flare. A flare will also appear and can be heard from Miguel's plane soon afterwards. Keep firing flares until you find Miguel, then follow him.
Island Flyover: Super Mario Bros. reference
Go to the hillside cabins at night. You can hear someone playing Super Mario Bros.
Never lose skill points
Pause game play when you are about the lose a match. Either restart or quit before the game displays the score. If done correctly, you will not lose skill points.
Phases of the Moon
The phases of the moon in Wii Sports Resort are accurate and reflect the real moon phases you can see at night. You can see the Wii Sports Resort moon during events like Island Flyover and Archery at night.
Power Cruising: Bonus courses
Complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding task. Note: The courses will be unlocked separately in Shalom and Versus mode.
Cavern: Play Power Cruising ten times.
Marina: Play Power Cruising five times.
Shoals: Play Power Cruising fifteen times.
Power Cruising: See whale
Play at night in Free Roam mode. Look for a whale jumping. Go to where it landed to see it swimming underwater.
Secret Color Code in Swordsplay
When playing on any stage, telling the color of a Mii's armor can help you identify their strategy of attack.
Black: Have faster reflexes. Act almost as a boss.
Green: Does not block, only swings sword.
Orange/Gold: Almost always blocks.
Pink/Red: Use an equal amount of blocking and swinging, almost immediately counters attacks made.
Purple: Uses defence more often. They alway change their direction of defence in attempts to trick you.
Secret Strike
In Bowling, during a 100-Pin Game, move your character all the way to the left or right (by using left or right on the d-pad), and roll a ball all the way down the gutter guard without it falling off. If it works, there will be a muted explosion sound, and all the pins will miraculously fall over. After completing the match you get the Secret Strike stamp.
Superstar class
Get a "2,000" rating in any sport.
Swordplay - Duel: Punch opponent
End with tie at sudden death. A screen with both you and the CPU opponent standing next to each other will appear. You can repeatedly punch the CPU character in the face.
Swordplay - Duel: Samurai armor
Score 1,000 points to unlock special Samurai armor.
Swordplay - Duel: Upgrade armor
Defeat the first champion to upgrade your samurai armor.
Swordplay - Showdown: Reverse mode
Successfully complete the Volcano round to unlock the Reverse rounds. You can play all ten original rounds backwards.
Swordplay Showdown Purple Sword
Not only can you get the purple sword on dueling, But you can get it on showdown. To do this, Defeat the twentith level on swordplay showdown. Then, Just like the duel purple sword glitch, Hold the 1 Button and select ok on character select screen. Don't let go until you select level and warning screen pops up!
Swordplay: Play at sunset
Hold 2 and press A while confirming your character at the selection screen. Release 2 at the warning message screen.
Swordplay: Punch opponent
Go for a swing then quickly block at the last moment. You will punch your opponent in the face with a little knock back.
Swordplay: Purple sword
Defeat the Swordplay Duel champion, then hold 1 while a Swordplay game loads.
Table Tennis: 11 point game
Hold 2 when starting a game of Table Tennis.
Table Tennis: Shoe or slipper paddle
Hold 1 while a Table Tennis game loads.
The Sounds of Super Mario
Swoop down near the circle of cabins outside of the town on the south side of the island to hear the distinct strains of a Super Mario Bros. game being played. That's how we'd spend our time at a tropical island resort as well!
Video Game Sounds
At the begining of cycling when the numbers are going down, you can hear the same sound from the Mario Kart games when those numbers are going down.
When you fall off of a cliff in Cycling mode, you can hear the same sound from when you fall off a cliff in Mario Kark 64.
During 3-point contest (basketball), you may possible hear a "Wa-ha!" which sounds similar to the "wa- ha!" Mario says in Super Mario 64 after a Triple Jump.
In bowling when you zoom in you can hear the sound when you bring up the menu in Animal Crossing. (This is also in Wii Sports)
Wakeboarding: Bonus levels
Get between 400 to 500 points in the overall event score to unlock Intermediate level.
Get between 800 to 900 points in the overall event score to unlock Expert level.
